My passion for French wine culture is rooted in my family’s French heritage. I enjoyed an especially close connection with my Grand-mère
(Marie-Madeleine Zéphyr) who grew up in Reims (in Champagne) during WWI and WWII, then moved to America to marry an American soldier.
It’s been my honor to dedicate my career to sharing the stories of family-owned French wineries, and to celebrate the cultural resilience, passion and soul that also were instilled in me by my heritage.
Before moving to Burgundy, France to pursue a master’s degree in International Wine Business in 2021, I spent eight years importing distinct French wines into my home state of Minnesota.
Why Wine?
Harvesting grapes in the vineyards and spending time ‘à table’ with winemakers has taught me the value of the authentic experience – as an avenue for connection
Traversing the lesser-known wine routes reminded me of the importance of understanding the backdrop of a location.
Translating experiences with a now-local perspective showed me a way to provide access to others to enjoy the magic of the French wine culture.
